We are looking for Masons / Formworkers for a construction project in Boden, Sweden.
Contract and package
- Contract: 10 months, with possible extension
- Accommodation: Provided on site
- Flights: Covered
- PPE / EPI: Covered
- Salary: Hourly wage, based on hours worked
Role
The Mason / Formworker will work under the responsibility of the Team Leader and will carry out masonry and construction tasks according to site instructions, safety rules and quality requirements.
Main tasks
- Erect supporting structures such as scaffolding, shoring and platforms.
- Excavate and level foundations.
- Build walls, facades and partitions using bricks, concrete blocks, plasterboard or similar materials.
- Install and seal prefabricated elements such as reveals, lintels, cornices and stairs.
- Prepare and apply mortars, coatings and related materials.
- Make, finish and smooth joints.
- Follow health, safety, quality and environmental rules on site.
- Keep the workstation clean and organized.
- Report any issues, defects or dangerous situations.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in traditional masonry is required.
- CAP Traditional Masonry or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- CACES Manitou or aerial work platform training is desirable.
- Experience with masonry, mortar, blocks, walls, foundations or similar construction works.
- Good awareness of safety and PPE rules.
- Basic English or French is required.
