You step into a central role in large infrastructure and urban development projects that are in various stages, from planning to implementation. Here, you will represent the client during the construction phase and be the one who keeps track of progress, quality, and coordination in a complex environment with multiple contractors and many stakeholders.

You work closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, and authorities, becoming a crucial link between strategy and production on the projects. This assignment suits you if you thrive by taking clear responsibility, driving issues forward, and creating structure in projects where time, cost, environment, and working environment need to be monitored with high precision. • You create and monitor detailed schedules for the construction phase.
• You ensure that the contractors' planning is realistic, coordinated, and feasible.
• You identify risks, drive risk management, and report status regularly to the client.
• You coordinate multiple contractors and clarify boundary definitions between different parties.
• You lead construction meetings, coordination meetings, and site visits, and document decisions, deviations, and actions.
• You act as the contact point between the client, contractors, consultants, and authorities.
• You monitor that the work is performed according to contracts, documents, and current regulations.
• You conduct self-inspections and spot checks and ensure that materials and execution meet the required quality.
• You monitor occupational health and safety plans, report accidents, incidents, and deviations, and ensure that contractors fulfill their occupational health and safety obligations.
• You review invoices and handle ÄTA (Additional Work/Changes), monitor financial outcomes, and contribute to cost control.
• You ensure that environmental requirements and sustainability goals are integrated into the construction process and monitored.
• You participate in preliminary inspections, final inspections, and post-inspections, and ensure that defects and shortcomings are rectified before handover.
• You handle incoming comments related to the projects in the defect reporting system.

• At least 12 years of documented experience as a construction manager in larger infrastructure or urban development projects.
• Good knowledge of contract law, including AB 04, ABT 06, and AMA.
• Completed course in contract law within the last 3 years.
• Experience with occupational health and safety responsibility according to the Working Environment Act and BAS-U.
• Ability to lead meetings and communicate clearly in both speech and writing in Swedish.
• Experience working in projects with several parallel contractors.
• Academic education in construction technology, civil engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience from production planning and collaboration with several stakeholders.
• Completed education in AMA and MER covering at least 3 full days, conducted within the last 6 years.

• Documented experience from renewal areas or transformation areas.
• Experience from water and wastewater (VA) expansions.
• Experience from collaborative contracts (Samverkansentreprenader).
