We are now looking for a driven and engaged Contracting Engineer.

At our company, we primarily focus on ongoing operations, such as maintenance and repair work. We hold numerous framework agreements and national customer contracts. Another characteristic of our business is that we often perform work in occupied environments and during ongoing operations, which places high demands on our flexibility and customer service levels.

About the role

As a Contracting Engineer, you will work closely with the Site Manager and serve as a key link between the company and the client. You will be responsible for design work on both small and large-scale projects, preparing cost estimates and project plans for bids, and managing these processes. You will handle purchasing, documentation, and follow-up, while also driving and supporting the Site Manager in our projects, both technically and economically.

Our Contracting Engineers are involved in the entire project lifecycle and maintain contact with our customers, partners, and production staff. We value our relationships and expect you to have a strong aptitude for providing support and service.

The position is based in Alingsås or Borås.

Who are you?

You hold a university degree in a relevant field and have at least three years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent professional experience gained through several years in the industry. You possess strong knowledge in cost estimation, purchasing, project economics, project law, and production, and are comfortable communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.

The role involves working independently on several different projects simultaneously. This requires you to be structured, goal-oriented, able to prioritize, and meet deadlines. The position also demands strong collaboration skills and an understanding of the value of good relationships, both externally and internally.

Requirements:

• Class B driver's license and access to a personal car are required.
• Strong skills in cost estimation are highly meritorious.
