In this role, you will become part of our fantastic Fuel & Ash team, which consists of 5 people, and your workplace will be at the Sobacken facility.

As a machine operator, you play a central and very important role in the entire logistics process to ensure good quality during the fuel season and for storage in the pre- and post-seasons.

Your Responsibilities

You will work with the reception, directing, and handling of biomass arriving at the Sobacken facility.

  • Operating wheel loaders to keep the terminal area clean and well-organized.
  • Stacking bales, mixing, and feeding fuel into the tipping pocket.
  • Machine care and maintenance.
  • Assisting various parties in adjacent areas at BEM with wheel loaders.
  • Consulting with the control room and Biometria.

Your Background and Personal Qualities

You have a high school diploma, preferably from a construction or vehicle program. You preferably have experience as a machine operator or other relevant background in construction/vehicles that the employer considers equivalent.

We are looking for you who are service-oriented combined with responsibility, performing your work with great precision and efficiency. You enjoy working independently, using good analytical skills to make your own decisions. You have clear communication skills as the role involves contact with suppliers and employees, both internal and external.

You have at least a B driving license and a professional certificate for wheel loaders. You communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good knowledge of English.

What do we offer?

We value good conditions for a sustainable working life for our employees with a good working environment and opportunities for continuous development. To achieve this, we offer a workplace with developmental tasks in an exciting industry. We invest in employee health with several wellness benefits and activities. We have competitive employment terms and good benefits as a complement. Circularity, care, and forward-looking are our core values, reflected both within the company and towards customers.
