Inhouse Tech is looking for a future Business Unit Manager within Infrastructure Construction

The Role

Currently, our infrastructure construction projects are divided among the building, bridge, and industrial construction departments. Our goal is to establish a new department with full focus on infrastructure construction.

The role involves acting as the Business Unit Manager for the infrastructure construction department, either directly upon hiring or in a transitional phase. You will collaborate closely with the building, bridge, and industrial construction departments with the aim of establishing an independent unit. Infrastructure such as water treatment plants and power infrastructure will be key areas of focus.

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for planning, execution, and follow-up. Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring the market and establishing new customer contacts
• Working on tenders for public and private clients
• Leading design assignments as a project manager/designer
• Recruiting employees to build a team with the right competencies

This is a key role where you will have the opportunity to build and shape our business unit within infrastructure construction from the ground up.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in design and construction within infrastructure, and who currently work as a project manager, technical lead, or in a similar role.

It is important that you thrive in operational work and contribute your technical expertise. At the same time, you are driven by doing business and developing and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

We also look for you to have an academic background, such as a Master of Science in Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a relevant specialization.

It is important that you enjoy taking overall responsibility and are confident in taking a leadership role.
