Inhouse Tech is looking for a future Business Area Manager within Infrastructure Construction

The Role

Currently, our projects within infrastructure construction are divided between the departments for building, bridge, and industrial construction. Our goal is to establish a new department with full focus on infrastructure construction.

In this role, you will, either directly upon employment or in the future, serve as the Business Area Manager for the infrastructure construction department. You will collaborate closely with the building, bridge, and industrial construction departments with the aim of building and establishing an independent unit. Water treatment plants and power infrastructure are examples of facilities that will fall under your area of focus.

In this role, you have overall responsibility for planning, execution, and follow-up. Your tasks include, among other things:

• Monitor the market and establish new customer contacts
• Work on bids for public and private clients
• Lead design assignments as a project manager/designer
• Recruit employees to build your own team with the right competencies

This is a key role where you will have the opportunity to build and shape our business area within infrastructure construction from the ground up.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in design and construction within infrastructure, and who currently work as a project manager, technical lead, or similar role.

It is important that you enjoy working operationally and contribute your technical specialist competence. At the same time, you are driven by doing business and developing and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

We also see that you have an academic background, such as a Master of Science in Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with a relevant focus for the role.

It is important that you enjoy taking overall responsibility and are confident in taking a leadership role.
