The Adult Habilitation Clinics serve individuals over 18 years of age with autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or mobility impairments. The operations are conducted in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Disabilities (LSS), specifically the "Advice and Support" measure. We also serve relatives and staff. The work is carried out in interdisciplinary teams consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, speech therapists, psychologists, and secretaries.

As a Medical Secretary, you play a central role in the organization and contribute to creating good conditions for both patients and employees. You are an important part of the clinic's administrative support and work closely with colleagues within your own profession as well as other professional groups in the interdisciplinary team.
The work is varied and includes standard tasks for a medical secretary such as medical record management, documentation, handling referrals, writing letters, and other administrative tasks related to the patient process. The role also involves providing service and administrative support to the organization, as well as handling patient contacts via phone, digital channels, and during visits to the clinic.
You participate in the development of administrative routines and working methods to contribute to a well-functioning organization with high quality and good service. As a medical secretary within habilitation, you collaborate closely with other medical secretaries and professions at the clinic to create the best possible support for patients, relatives, and employees.
We are looking for you who have education in healthcare administration (80 credits at University College level or 400 credits at University College level), or equivalent medical secretary education. You have good knowledge of medical terminology and good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Additionally, you have good computer skills and experience working in various administrative systems, as well as good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
It is meritorious if you have previous experience working as a medical secretary in healthcare. If you have experience with medical record systems and other administrative systems used in healthcare, we also view this positively.
To thrive in the role, you are service-oriented, structured, and responsible. You have good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work and can adapt when conditions change. Since the work involves many contact surfaces, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and a professional approach. You work independently, take initiative within your area of responsibility, and are eager to contribute to the organization's development and improvement work. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
