Are you a positive and engaged person who enjoys working with people? At Österäng Elderly Care Home, we are now looking for two assistant nurses to join our team.

Österäng is a specialized housing facility located in Korsberga. Here, there are four wards with a total of 30 apartments. We are approximately 40 employees who collaborate and support each other across ward boundaries. Indoors, we have shared spaces for socializing, and outdoors, we have a pleasant courtyard that we enjoy using during the summer months. Additionally, there are beautiful walking paths near the facility.

As part of our operations, we work with organized activation led by our activation staff. Together we bake, play bingo, sing, read, and do gymnastics. We also have service assistants who relieve the assistant nurses in their daily work.

In the elderly care sector of Vetlanda Municipality, we work for Esther's best – always with a focus on the user and on how we can strengthen their sense of security and independence.

As an assistant nurse, your most important task is to ensure that every person's need for care and nursing is met. This is a job where your contribution has a significant impact on other people's daily lives and quality of life.

We are looking for assistant nurses for day and evening shifts, including weekend work. Here, we value collaboration, commitment, and initiative.

The positions are permanent employment contracts with an extent of 80 percent, or other extent as agreed. There is an opportunity for flexible hours. A car and driver's license are an advantage, as the facility is located outside the city and public transport is limited in the evenings and on weekends.

Qualifications

• We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse.
• Experience from the profession is meritorious.
• We place great importance on your personal qualities.
• The position requires a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). The extract must be for residential homes (HVB-hem) and is ordered via the Police website.

Employment Type: Permanent.
Duration: Permanent, Start Date: September 1, 2026 (or as agreed). Selection and interviews are held continuously.
Working Hours: Daytime, evening, and weekends.
