The Role of Nurse/Community Nurse

At Bra Liv Norrahammar Health Centre, you are offered an stimulating and varied work that involves close collaboration with other professional groups at the health centre. We work in teams regarding medical priorities and work closely together in daily work across all professions. Teamwork is something we will work even more on in the coming years, which is part of our "resident team" project.

You will work with common tasks at a health centre with great variation in the work, where reception work, telephone advice in TeleQ and the 1177 service/direct care form the basis of the work. At our reception, nurses, assistant nurses, and doctors work together with both planned and acute visits as well as traditional community nurse reception.

In the areas of diabetes, asthma/COPD, wound care, health talks, and care coordination, we have specialized nurses working here, and there is an opportunity for you to develop within these areas. We have good cooperation with the home care and SÄBO nurses. Experience in care coordination is an advantage.

Reception Work

The reception work consists of both planned and acute visits where you meet children from 1 year old and all ages upwards, providing a varied work. Symptoms vary from simple to more complex. We therefore collaborate with each other to be able to consult and provide quality care to our registered residents. We are open Monday–Friday between 07:45–17:00.

Certain weekend and evening shifts at the Urgent Care Centre in Jönköping Ryhov are included in the assignment, where you work with your colleagues from the health centre.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. If you are educated as a community nurse, it is an advantage, and if you have also worked in primary care, it is a benefit.

We believe that you are an independent person who takes own initiative and adapts easily to new conditions. You work in a structured manner and have the will and ability to find solutions. We value qualities such as good communication skills, commitment, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Experience in primary care and working in Cosmic and Tele-Q is advantageous but not a requirement. Our core values put patient interaction in focus. For us, a positive attitude towards your colleagues and your work weighs heavily because it leads to a good atmosphere in the group. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
