Experience within elderly care or other relationship-building professions is desirable, but we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Your new job
Your tasks will consist of performing care and service work in the customer's home. You will work to strengthen and support the individual's own abilities based on needs and wishes. Furthermore, we always work based on the citizen's implementation plan and apply fixed care contact to create good continuity for customers. A central part of the work is also social documentation and communication, which are included in your tasks. As an employee in home care, you have a significant role where you work to provide individualized care and support as well as social stimulation – always with the individual in focus. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to creating a valuable everyday life for our customers with a high level of service.

As part of Gränna Home Care, you will be part of a work group where you are given the opportunity to be involved, take responsibility, and influence your own as well as the operation's development. For those with a commute to Gränna of at least 20 km, you will receive a salary supplement of up to 1,500 SEK per month. Your competence
Primarily, we are looking for you who are educated as a nurse assistant (undersköterska). If you are a care aide (vårdbiträde) with longer work experience from elderly care, this may substitute the educational requirement. It is meritorious to have previous work experience from elderly care or other relationship-building professions. You must speak, write, and read fluent Swedish, as there is contact with citizens, relatives, documentation, and reading of information related to the work. Social documentation is an important work tool that is digitized, so we would appreciate that you have good computer skills. The work requires good physical mobility, as there may be situations where adaptations or assistive devices are not possible.
The position requires that you have a B driver's license and can cycle.

Furthermore, you present solutions that highlight emerging situations to your colleagues and other professions. Having a professional approach is something you see as a matter of course. You are confident working independently and feel comfortable prioritizing and making decisions – in close collaboration with colleagues. It is important that you work well with others through attentiveness, communication, and a constructive approach.

Welcome to us
Gränna Home Care is one of the municipality's home care groups, and the foundation of our operation is a dignified and professional approach characterized by respect, trust, and care. Gränna Home Care currently consists of approximately 30 employees responsible for personal care and service in the customer's home. The premises are located at Gränna Elderly Home and are well geographically positioned in relation to the home care area. We are also responsible for patrol interventions in the area. We move between citizens' homes by car or bicycle.

Good to know
The recruitment concerns permanent positions where working hours are scheduled for day/evening, weekdays, and every other weekend. Jönköping Municipality aims for full-time work as the norm and always offers 100% employment. We work with joint planning, which means that working with several citizens may become relevant. An offer of employment in another operation may become relevant.
Ongoing selection and interviews will be applied in the recruitment, which means that the positions may be filled before the last application date.
The title "Care Aide" (vårdbiträde) is job-evaluated and found in base group B. The title "Nurse Assistant" (undersköterska) is job-evaluated and found in base group D.
