We are located in the heart of Österlen, with its fantastic surroundings and good commuting opportunities to places such as Ystad, Simrishamn, and Kristianstad.

Brösarp Health Centre is a well-functioning, fully staffed, and stable unit with approximately 30 employees. We have the patient in focus, offer high-quality care, and are keen on providing good service with care. Teamwork, quality, good working environment, and competence development are important factors in the unit.

The health centre has a doctor's office with six general specialists and two resident doctors (ST) and assistant doctors (AT). Nine district nurses/nurses are responsible for the district nurse clinic as well as clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, heart failure, hypertension, child health care (CHC), and elderly care/memory clinic. Our lab is staffed by assistant nurses, and we have excellent administrative support from our three medical secretaries.

There is also a paramedical unit a stone's throw from the health centre, with physiotherapists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, and dietitians. Our branch in Kivik is staffed by a doctor, nurse, and assistant nurse a few days a week. The health centre is responsible for two nursing homes and has a good and close collaboration with the municipal home care service.

Job Description

As one of our colleagues is retiring, there is now an opportunity for you to apply for the position of specialist doctor with us.

We are looking for you who are a licensed doctor with specialization in general medicine and are interested in continuing to develop primary care together with us in a positive and inspiring environment.

Your duties include standard clinic work with scheduled and emergency visits, offering you stimulating work covering the entire field of general medicine. Your role also includes supervising trainee doctors.

Here you are offered good development opportunities with continuous education, both internally and externally, depending on interest and the needs of the operation. Furthermore, we expect you to be involved in improvement work and operational development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed doctor with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare and have specialist training in general medicine. Proficiency in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement.
