Statens institutionsstyrelse (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individualized involuntary care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse problems. SiS also operates closed youth care facilities, including youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse, located throughout the country. SiS LVM (Care under Special Provisions) Home Lunden receives women with alcohol, drug, or polydrug abuse issues. We admit clients with mental health challenges as well as those requiring medical nursing care. The facility is located in Lund.

Job Description

As a nurse at SiS, you will have an independent, stimulating, and challenging role where you make a significant difference for our clients dealing with severe somatic and mental health issues. Our clients, who are women, often present with co-occurring disorders.

Beyond nursing care and medication management, your role includes everything from supportive counseling to acute interventions.

You will be part of a team and participate in treatment planning together with other professionals such as doctors, psychologists, and other treatment staff.

You will collaborate with social services and other healthcare providers.

We also have LARO (Long-term maintenance treatment with buprenorphine) on one of our wards.

Documentation is done in the electronic health record system Take Care.

We have a total of five nurses, including one IAS (Institutional Emergency Nurse).

Working hours are Monday to Friday during office hours.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse, preferably with a few years of experience. Specialist education in psychiatry or experience with our target group is advantageous.

Experience with CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and/or DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is also considered an asset.

A driver's license is desirable but not mandatory.

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
