Do you want a key role throughout the entire construction process and help ensure that our projects deliver on quality, environment, and working environment – the right way from the start? Peab is now looking for experienced QHSE Coordinators who want to work close to production and actively drive QHSE work with a clear focus on quality in our projects.

With this announcement, we are looking for several QHSE Coordinators to be placed in projects within the Stockholm area and Uppsala.

About the role

As a QHSE Coordinator with us, you are a qualified support to the project organization in matters concerning quality, environment, and working environment – with an emphasis on quality assurance and working methods in the projects.

You work operationally in projects and serve as a sounding board for the site manager and workforce leadership. The role involves you operating in several parts of the process, where you sometimes drive the work yourself and sometimes support the project depending on the stage and needs.

Your main responsibilities

• Ensure that QHSE requirements are identified and handled in the project
• Contribute to structure and working methods related to requirements and follow-up
• Work operationally at various projects and have an advisory function towards site managers and employees in production.

The work includes among other things

• Ensuring documentation, experience feedback, and compliance with laws and internal requirements.
• Dialogue with clients, authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Follow-up of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conducting internal audits.

You operate close to the projects and contribute to creating structure, compliance, and learning with quality and working methods in focus.

The position may be placed in a security-classified project, which means that you will need to undergo a security clearance. Due to this, there is a requirement for Swedish citizenship.

About you

We are looking for you who have relevant education or equivalent experience within Quality, Environment, and Working Environment. It is meritorious if you have work experience from the construction industry. Furthermore, you should be well-versed in legislation and standards within the QHSE area. We value your ability to communicate effectively and work in a structured manner. Furthermore, you are a team player who enjoys working and collaborating in a group. Your analytical thinking and solution-oriented attitude will be crucial to succeeding in the role.
