About the Company

Our client is a global industrial company with operations worldwide and a comprehensive IT environment supporting thousands of users. Here, you will become part of an international support team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and high service standards are at the forefront. The position begins as a consultancy assignment through Mero, starting in September 2026 and initially running until August 2027.

About the Role

As a Global Service Desk Consultant, you will provide IT support to users worldwide via phone, web chat, and remote control tools. You will become a key part of the global service desk, assisting users with everything from technical questions and troubleshooting to administration and guidance regarding the company's IT environment.

You will work daily with support related to Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, as well as various types of hardware and client environments. The role involves both handling incoming tickets and ensuring they are resolved according to set SLAs, processes, and quality goals.

You will also collaborate with both local and global support teams, identify recurring issues, contribute to improvement work, and update documentation and knowledge articles. A key part of the role is to educate and guide users so they become more self-sufficient in their daily tasks.

About You

We are looking for you who have experience in IT support and thrive in a role with many touchpoints. You are service-oriented, solution-focused, and enjoy helping users in a pedagogical and professional manner.

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

  • Experience in IT support via phone, web chat, and remote control tools
  • Good knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Experience in troubleshooting in client and user environments
  • Good understanding of computer hardware and peripheral equipment
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow technical documentation, routines, and processes
  • Very good skills in Swedish, English, and Spanish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you also have:

  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Experience from a global or multicultural organization
  • Experience in process improvements or knowledge management within service desk

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and analytical. You are good at prioritizing, can handle multiple tasks in parallel, and feel comfortable in an environment where the pace is sometimes high. You are a team player who appreciates collaboration and has a natural ability to build good relationships with users and colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds.
