Are you an engaged and responsible person who wants to make a difference in people's daily lives? The Disability Care department is looking for a substitute support assistant for the service housing at Rydgatan in Värnamo. The working hours are scheduled for day/evening/weekends.

Job Responsibilities

To provide support and services according to the user's individual needs and wishes as per implementation plans. You perform day-to-day, planned support measures and activities together with the user. The support measures should promote the user's integrity and participation and are carried out with respect for the user's self-determination. The user's needs should be at the center, and the person's opinions should be actively taken into account. The user should receive support and the right to decide over their life and develop their abilities to live as independently as possible. The work is based on a pedagogical and motivating approach in close cooperation with the user's network and other staff.

The job responsibilities also include rehabilitation, IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health and medical care tasks.

Qualifications

Healthcare and Social Care program, Child and Youth program, or other education that the employer deems equivalent, as well as good computer skills. Experience working with people who need support in daily life in various ways is meritorious.

You are sensitive, reflective, and have a low-affective approach to interaction. You have a pedagogical mindset and are clear in your communication. You can adapt your working method to the individual and the situation and have a respectful approach with empathetic ability. You are good at collaborating with others but should also be able to take personal responsibility and work independently. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

• Ability to speak and write Swedish.
