Job Description

As a System Administrator (Drifttekniker), you will become a key player in operating and improving Saab’s Software Factory. The focus is on automation, stable operations, and creating efficient solutions that facilitate both development teams and users. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Configuring and deploying virtual environments using Ansible
• Ensuring stable operation of CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins
• Working with version control and artifact management in Bitbucket and Artifactory
• Building and improving solutions for automation and self-service
• Identifying bottlenecks and optimizing system performance
• Working with monitoring, incident management, and improvement measures

The role involves close dialogue with other teams and customers, helping to ensure that changes and updates occur smoothly without affecting critical flows. You will work in an environment where everything is code-based and reproducible, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we believe you are analytical, solution-oriented, and thrive in a technically advanced environment. Furthermore, it is a requirement that you have at least 1–3 years of full-time experience in the field. We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in IT/Technology
• Practical experience with Linux and virtual infrastructure
• Strong competence in Jenkins and Ansible
• Knowledge of scripting, such as Bash or Python
• Experience with container technology (Docker or Podman)
• Experience with LDAP or similar identity management
• Good understanding of GitOps and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus

Experience with Kubernetes or similar solutions is considered an asset. The position may require security clearance according to current regulations. Saab offers a developing workplace where you have the opportunity to influence both technology and working methods.
