Axel Christiernsson is now looking for an engaged and driven Operations Excellence professional who wants to contribute to developing our production system and strengthening our improvement culture in Nol.

About the Role

In this role, you are responsible for driving and further developing the company's production system based on Lean principles and continuous improvement work. The goal is to create a culture where efficiency, quality, and safety permeate the entire organization.

The role does not involve formal personnel responsibility, but requires a strong ability to collaborate, coach, and influence the organization through improvement initiatives and structured change management. You will also contribute to creating smart and efficient layouts that support both Lean work and future capacity needs.

Main Responsibilities

You are responsible for implementing and further developing the Axel Production System locally, with a focus on Lean, 5S, TPM, and standardized working methods. You actively work to identify and eliminate waste in processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.

You lead improvement projects and coach employees in Lean methodology, ensuring that relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) are monitored and developed. The role involves close collaboration with the Plant Manager and Team Leaders to achieve the company's strategic goals.

Furthermore, you analyze and optimize production flows and layouts to improve efficiency in the facility. You also participate in planning investments in machinery and equipment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have relevant education or equivalent experience, as well as documented experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar improvement methods.

You have experience driving change initiatives without formal personnel responsibility and are confident in working cross-functionally. You have good communication skills and thrive in a role where collaboration is central.

Experience and Knowledge

You have experience in improvement work within the manufacturing industry, and it is an advantage if you have worked with layout optimization and investments in production equipment.

You have experience implementing production systems and leading change projects. Certification in Six Sigma at a minimum of Green Belt level is a requirement.

How You Make a Difference

In this role, you contribute to increasing efficiency through completed improvement projects, improved KPIs such as OEE, and reduced waste. You ensure that standardized working methods are implemented in production and contribute to the development of layouts and investments.

You are also a key part of maintaining, developing, and supporting 5S work, ensuring that improvement initiatives are carried out in accordance with the company's goals.

Work Environment and Safety

You ensure that improvement initiatives follow the company's occupational health and safety policy and actively contribute to a safe workplace through risk assessments during process changes.

You support the implementation of ergonomic and safe working methods in production.
