Job Description

Are you an experienced Project Manager within HVAC looking to have greater impact – on business, technology, and the team?

At our office in Skara, you will take on a key role where you not only lead projects but also help develop our business within healthcare, the public sector, and technically complex environments.

AFRY’s business area Public & Commercial Places, with approximately 1,000 employees, is one of Sweden’s leading players in the construction and property sector. We work on some of the country’s most complex projects – particularly in healthcare environments where requirements for functionality, operational reliability, and future-proofing are critical.

You will work on both large national assignments and local projects in the Skaraborg and Västra Götaland regions, often in close collaboration with regions and public clients. The role offers a varied and development-oriented daily routine, where you follow projects from the early stages to the completed facility.

As a Project Manager, you will have a central role with both technical and commercial responsibility.

You will:

  • Lead and be responsible for assignments from the early stage to delivery
  • Ensure quality, time, and economy in projects
  • Act as a consulting partner to clients, often in hospital projects
  • Drive technical solutions in complex projects together with AFRY’s extensive collective knowledge base
  • Coach and support colleagues and contribute to the team’s development
  • Help develop our position as a strong hospital project developer nationwide

Here you will combine technical expertise, business understanding, and leadership in projects that truly make a difference. Our culture is characterized by courage, engagement, and collaboration – we believe the best solutions arise when we challenge, support, and develop each other.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Several years of experience (approx. 6–10+ years) in HVAC as a consultant
  • Experience in project or assignment management
  • Preference for experience with hospital projects or similar complex environments
  • Experience working closely with clients and driving business dialogue
  • Strong competence in design engineering (AutoCAD/Revit)

To thrive with us, we believe you:

  • Are secure in your role and enjoy taking responsibility
  • Have a clear business drive and appreciate client dialogue
  • Thrive in projects with high demands and many interfaces
  • Are structured, solution-oriented, and quality-conscious
  • Have curiosity and courage to develop both technology and working methods

You communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and hold a valid driver’s license (Category B).

Additional Information

With us, you get more than just a job – you get the opportunity to make an impact. We drive change in everything we do. Innovation arises when bold ideas meet engagement and collaboration.

We offer you:

  • Participation in some of the most technically advanced projects in healthcare and the public sector
  • A role with great trust and real influence
  • Strong development opportunities – both technically and in leadership
  • An engaged team with high competence and good cohesion

We believe in balance, transparency, and having fun together, while delivering at a high level.

Do you want to help shape the sustainable society of the future – while having real influence in your role?

Welcome to apply. The last day for applications is 2026-06-15. Selection is made on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the deadline – please submit your application as soon as possible.
