About Us

The Forensic Psychiatry Unit at Skaraborg Hospital in Falköping is a security level 2 facility with 24 care beds for individuals sentenced to care under the Act on Forensic Psychiatric Care. There is also an outpatient team that follows up on patients who no longer require inpatient care but still need support.

Around 90 employees work here – ranging from care assistants, nurses, doctors, and psychologists to occupational therapists, social workers, activity pedagogues, and treatment assistants. In the autumn, the operations were expanded with 9 care beds in security level 3. We are a developing organization.

About the Job

As a Security Assistant, your workplace will be in the reception, which also serves as our security hub responsible for the overarching security system. This includes, among other things, entrance and passage control, video surveillance, panic alarms, area alarms, fire alarms, and more.

The role includes reception duties, meaning you will be the face of the organization and receive visitors. The reception is staffed 24/7.

Who Are You?

You, the applicant, have a high school education and good IT skills. You have high simultaneous capacity as well as good ability to prioritize and handle multiple events at once. You are stress-resistant and confident in demanding situations, and you have good collaboration skills.

Furthermore, you have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have education within healthcare and/or experience with general access control as well as experience handling cabinet X-ray equipment.

As a person, you are socially competent, stable, meticulous, solution-oriented, and have a high service spirit. You also find it easy to collaborate and are guided by ethics and values in decisive situations at work. You need to have good color vision and hearing.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, and you should have an interest in working with forensic psychiatric patients and their specific needs.

Other Information
