Svenska kyrkan Falun consists of five parishes that together form the Falu parish. We have approximately 70 employees within the parish activities and the cemetery administration. Falun is a rich cultural and historical area with roots going back at least a thousand years, and through the Falun Mine, it has created a World Heritage Site. Falun offers beautiful nature, a historic mine, a vibrant music and theater scene, great opportunities for outdoor activities, rural life, and a lively city center.

We are looking for an HR Generalist with a focus on development

About the position

Do you want to help shape the future of HR work in an organization that makes a difference? We are looking for an engaged HR generalist who thrives on variety and wants to contribute to development. At our organization, no two days are alike – you will work both strategically and operationally across the entire HR field.

The position involves both qualified HR work and administrative tasks related to personnel, where you will serve as a key support to both managers and employees.

Examples of areas of responsibility:

  • New contractual terms and salary formation
  • Rehabilitation and working environment (SAM and OSA)
  • Recruitment and organizational development
  • Labor law, personnel economics, and active measures against discrimination
  • Administrative HR support, such as scheduling and support in payroll and time systems

Your responsibilities

  • Provide qualified support to managers in HR matters
  • Develop working environment efforts – both preventive and corrective
  • Drive recruitment, rehabilitation, and other HR processes
  • Work with scheduling and provide administrative support in payroll and time systems
  • Communicate with union representatives (some negotiation experience is required)

We work in Microsoft 365 with Teams as our primary collaboration platform.

Who are you?

  • You have a degree in Human Resources or another relevant background
  • You have 3–5 years of experience in HR work and are confident in the role of managerial support
  • You have good knowledge of labor law and union relations
  • You are self-motivated, structured, and solution-oriented
  • You have a valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious: Experience with Microsoft 365 and interest in business development.

Practical information

The position is a permanent employment that may begin with a probationary period. Interviews are planned for August 11–12, 2026.
