We are now looking for an engaged and business-driven Purchasing Manager to join our team in Upplands Väsby. Here, you will play a central role in driving the company forward by ensuring we purchase the right cars – at the right price, at the right time. We are looking for both experienced professionals from the automotive industry and ambitious beginners with a strong passion for cars and a drive for business results.

About the role

As a Purchasing Manager at Bilsmidigt, you influence the company's results and development every day. You are responsible for the entire purchasing process – from identifying the right vehicles to securing the deal and bringing it to completion. The role requires both a strategic mindset and operational drive.

Your responsibilities

• Identify attractive vehicles from various sourcing channels (e.g., leasing companies, dealers, private individuals)
• Negotiate with suppliers and ensure competitive purchasing
• Develop and improve our purchasing strategies
• Collaborate with the logistics department for efficient handling of purchased cars
• Analyze the market for trends and purchasing opportunities
• Value trade-in cars in collaboration with other team members
• Follow up on the quality and performance of previous purchases
• Work in a data-driven and goal-oriented manner with purchasing results and margins

Qualifications

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Experience from the automotive industry, purchasing, sales, or other relevant areas
• Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
• Structured, detail-oriented, and accustomed to handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Analytical with good decision-making abilities
• Comfortable with digital tools and working in modern IT systems
• A burning interest in cars is a big plus
