Do you want to work in a central and coordinating role where you contribute to ensuring healthcare functions every day? We are now looking for a staffing assistant for a fixed-term position until January 2028.

The position is divided as follows:

• 75% staffing work within the inpatient wards of the Department of Medicine
• 25% work directed towards the Emergency Department in Mora

As a staffing assistant, you play a key role in ensuring the right staffing levels based on operational needs in a continuous 24/7 operation.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Support first-line managers with short- and long-term staffing
• Ensure staffing during vacancies and manage changes in personnel needs
• Create an overview of the personnel situation and care intensity in the operation
• Participate in daily follow-up of staffing levels together with the wards
• Coordinate resources between units based on current needs
• Maintain ongoing contact with the operation's managers and employees

The work is characterized by close collaboration with all inpatient wards as well as the Emergency Department.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in administrative work, preferably within healthcare or other resource-intensive 24/7 operations.
• Has good organizational skills and thrives in a coordinating role
• Is structured, solution-oriented, and has good prioritization skills
• Communicates clearly and enjoys having many points of contact
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Experience with scheduling or staffing planning is an advantage.

You are flexible and thrive in a job where conditions can change quickly. You have a holistic perspective and the ability to make decisions based on the best interests of the operation. You have an easy time building good relationships.
