Information about the role

Please note that this is not a traditional service technician role. We are looking for someone who is attracted by variety, travel, and technical challenges, and who wants to contribute to MagicPool's continued development.

You will be offered a home base in a location of your choice, where you will discover new places through your work.

In the role of traveling service technician, you will have a central function in the operation and be responsible for service, troubleshooting, commissioning, and technical support related to MagicPool installations. The work is varied and involves contact with several different technical areas where you are expected to combine practical work with technical problem-solving.

You will travel to customers and projects throughout Sweden and periodically internationally, including to Norway and Spain. The role involves great freedom under responsibility and suits you if you enjoy planning your own work, making decisions on-site, and taking ownership to find solutions when challenges arise.

You will work closely with the company's management, subcontractors, and become an important part of the team where your skills and engagement have a significant impact on the continued development of the business.

The position is a direct hire, which means that the recruitment process is handled by Sodajo Consulting and that you are employed directly by MagicPool.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical installations
• Commissioning and functional testing of new facilities
• Work with electricity, control and regulation technology, and automation
• Technical support and advice to customers
• Coordination of subcontractors and external partners as needed
• Documentation and follow-up of completed work
• Contribute to the development and improvement of technical solutions and internal working methods

We are looking for you who

• Have experience from a technical role such as service technician, electrician, automation technician, operations technician, construction, or similar
• Feel confident in both plumbing (VVS) and construction, as the product is complex
• Have a strong technical interest and enjoy understanding how different systems work together
• Enjoy troubleshooting and solving problems in practice
• Are self-reliant and confident in making your own decisions
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B)

It is meritorious if you have experience with control and regulation technology, automation, marine environments, professional diving, pool technology, or other operations where multiple technical disciplines interact, but this is not a requirement for the position.
