We are looking for an experienced and independent energy engineer/energy auditor who wants to take a key role in our assignments. At Bengt Dahlgren Stockholm, you will combine energy analysis, operational support, and practical implementation – from initial idea to verified savings. About the role

As an energy engineer/energy auditor with us, you will have a key role where you:

• Drive your own assignments with your own customer responsibility
• Conduct energy audits and energy analyses in existing buildings and facilities
• Provide operational support to property management and operation organizations, e.g., optimization of facilities and operational strategies
• Work with control and monitoring systems (BMS) – troubleshooting, optimization, and functional checks
• Set up and analyze data collection (energy, power, indoor climate, etc.) for follow-up and optimization
• Develop action proposals, calculations, and decision support materials, and follow up on the results
• Lead or support the implementation of energy efficiency measures
• Act as a consulting consultant within energy, operations, climate, and sustainability

You work closely with property owners, managers, and operation organizations, and often become the one who ties together technology, practice, and business. Our assignments cover everything from commercial properties and housing to more complex facilities such as hospitals and laboratories. Customers often turn to us when it is particularly difficult and complex, which gives you the opportunity to work in challenging and developing projects where we create conditions for efficient buildings and sustainable energy systems.

Who we think you are

You are used to taking initiative and have good planning and organizational skills. You thrive in a consultant role, build good relationships, and contribute to a positive group dynamic.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of experience as an energy engineer, energy consultant, energy auditor, or similar role
• Is confident in driving own projects and customer relationships
• Has a good understanding of the operation of building technical systems (HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, control & regulation)
• Has experience with control systems/BMS and sees the connections between settings, operation, and energy performance
• Has worked with data collection, energy statistics, and monitoring of key figures
• Thrives with both technical analysis and practical operational support as well as clear communication with the customer
• Expresses yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Merits include:

• Certification as an energy auditor
• Certification as an Energy Expert (CEX)
• Experience with larger property portfolios or complex facilities (e.g., hospitals, laboratories, or industry)
