In collaboration with BAE Systems Hägglunds, Experis Academy is running a tailored program where you are employed from day one and get the opportunity to become highly skilled in your specialist area – system security!

Through Experis Academy, we offer a paid education in system security, followed by a 12-month specialization period at BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik. The program starts in November and gives you the chance to work with advanced defense and security systems that make a real difference.

Why System Security?

System security is a field that is growing rapidly as technical systems become more complex and the demands for safety and reliability increase. As a system security engineer, you work to ensure that systems function as intended – under all conditions and throughout their entire lifecycle.

This is a role that suits you if you are analytical, structured, and curious about how technology connects. You do not need prior experience in system security – the education provides everything you need to succeed.

Step 1 – Paid Education via Experis Academy

The program begins with an intensive education in system security, developed together with BAE Systems Hägglunds. During the education, you will:

• Gain basic and in-depth knowledge of system security
• Get an introduction to standards, regulations, and methods
• Train in risk analysis, requirement management, and verification
• Receive coaching and support to develop both technical and soft skills

The education takes place on-site in Örnsköldsvik and is conducted by Experis Academy, which has trained technical consultants across Europe for many years. You are employed by Experis from day one and receive a salary throughout the entire education period.

Step 2 – Specialization Period at BAE Systems Hägglunds

After the education, there is a 12-month specialization period where you work as a consultant at BAE Systems Hägglunds. Here, you will apply your new knowledge in practice and become part of an experienced team working with advanced systems in areas such as vehicles and defense technology.

As a system security engineer, you will:

• Identify, analyze, and manage risks in technical systems
• Work with requirements, verification, and documentation
• Participate in project meetings and technical forums
• Collaborate with designers, systems engineers, and project managers
• Ensure that systems comply with laws, standards, and the Swedish Armed Forces' requirements
• Follow the system's entire lifecycle – from concept to delivery and service

The role combines technology, analysis, communication, and responsibility. You will gain a broad understanding of how complex systems are built and function, and you will become a key part of the work to create safe and robust solutions.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who have a technical interest and preferably an education or experience in areas such as:

• Mechanics
• Electronics
• Mechatronics
• Production
• Software
• Systems Engineering

The most important thing is that you are curious, meticulous, and want to understand how systems work in depth. You thrive working in a structured manner, analyzing information, and documenting your work. You are responsible, communicative, and have an easy time collaborating with others.

You must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
