Information about the introductory period

The introductory period is based on the Accelerated Learning method, where shorter theoretical parts are combined with practical moments to give you all the tools you need to succeed in the role. During the period, you will develop in areas such as:

• Refrigeration technology
• Electrical theory
• Piping systems and system construction
• Refrigerants and the F-gas regulation
• Refrigeration certificate category 1

We offer the possibility of study support throughout the introductory period.

Start event: September 21

Introduction: September 21 – January 22 (details for the entire introductory period will be provided at the employment interview)

First day at KylKontroll: January 25

Scope: Full-time

Location: Linköping + remote

Work location after completed initiative: Gothenburg

Job Responsibilities

As a refrigeration technician at KylKontroll, you will have a varied role where you work with the installation and service of cooling systems for the company's customers. The position suits you who want to develop within refrigeration technology and build broad technical competence from the ground up. You start in the role as an installation technician and have the opportunity to develop further into a service technician through engagement, initiative, and the right drive. The position offers a place in an experienced and family-like team with close collaboration, strong community, and a large focus on knowledge exchange. The work alternates between independent assignments and teamwork, where you receive support from colleagues during your introduction and development in the role.

Common job responsibilities include among others:

• Installation of cooling and heating systems
• Planning and implementation of installation projects according to safety and quality requirements
• Troubleshooting and formulating concrete action plans for these faults
• Customer contact and collaboration with project managers, technical salespeople, and other technicians

We are looking for you who

• Have a genuine technical interest and are driven by understanding, developing, and solving technical challenges
• Enjoy working independently and take responsibility for driving your work forward
• Are proactive, confident in your decisions, and have the ability to act in a solution-oriented manner in different situations
• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Hold a category B driver's license

Strong merit with tool experience, for example from work with vehicles, renovation projects, or other practical contexts.
