Your job with us

As an hourly or summer substitute at Ginstgården, you become part of a team that together creates a warm and safe everyday life for elderly people with cognitive illnesses. You work as needed, from single shifts during spring and autumn to longer, scheduled periods during the summer, and quickly become an important part of the operations. Your job may involve:

• Supporting routines and daily tasks
• Participating in social activities such as conversation, reading, and gardening
• Documenting and administering medication – after training and supervision by a nurse
• Collaborating with colleagues and other professionals around the residents

Who we are looking for

You want to work extra alongside studies or other employment. Perhaps you are studying to become an assistant nurse or a registered nurse – or you already have experience in care work. At Ginstgården, we need you who are confident and have a natural care for people. You are calm and structured in your work approach, sensitive to needs, take initiative when needed, and thrive in an environment with collaboration and clear communication.

Your qualifications

• Very good Swedish in speech and writing, as well as basic computer skills
• Experience working in care and nursing, from jobs or internships, and with people with cognitive illnesses is meritorious, but not a requirement.
