In this role, you will be part of the KAA team, which is part of the operations within Campus Nyköping Ungdom (Youth). Within the operations, the principal, teachers, coordinators, youth coaches, and school counselors work.

Responsibilities

Campus Nyköping Ungdom is looking for an additional Youth Coach who wants to make a difference for young people who lack a complete upper secondary school diploma. As a Youth Coach, you are part of the team working with the municipality's activity responsibility. The assignment involves contacting, supporting, guiding, and motivating young people to resume or start education or other suitable measures. It is an stimulating assignment where you, with significant personal responsibility, contribute to developing the operations. Key tasks include outreach work, mapping interviews, coaching, motivational interviewing, documentation, and follow-up. You collaborate with social services, sending schools, the Swedish Public Employment Service, guardians, and other organizations/authorities outside of school.

Qualifications

You are educated as a Social Pedagogue.

We place great importance on your personal qualities and want you to identify with the following:

• You have many years of experience working with young people with complex issues (psychosocial problems, neurodevelopmental disorders).
• You are engaged and have a great ability to meet each individual and an interest in working with young people who have not succeeded in school for various reasons.
• You have a holistic view that encompasses both knowledge development and social development among young people.
• You have documented experience in coaching and motivational interviewing (MI).
• You have a structured work approach, are unpretentious, flexible, and an independent team player.
• Experience with municipal activity responsibility is meritorious.

Interviews are conducted continuously during the application period.
