Fortifikationsverket (The Swedish National Defence Properties Agency) is looking for an HR Partner in Eskilstuna. As a business-oriented HR Partner with us, you will play a key role in supporting managers across the entire HR field.

Fortifikationsverket is growing – join us! Our mission is to own, develop, and manage defense properties. By working with us, you contribute to one of our most important assets: a secure and free Sweden. The HR/Communications Department consists of a staff function and four units: HR, recruitment, communication, and competence development. We are a competent and happy team of 45 employees led by the HR Director. The position is located within the HR unit, which provides business-oriented advice on HR issues both operationally and strategically. The unit consists of an HR Manager, HR Administrators, and HR Partners. The HR unit needs to expand, and we are adding a position focused on the Competence Supply process. The headquarters is in Eskilstuna.

Your daily life as an HR Partner with a focus on Competence Supply

In the role of a business-oriented HR Partner, you become part of the HR and Communications Department, whose mission is to serve as a strategic, governing, and advisory function within Fortifikationsverket. You are part of a team of 10 HR Partners who collaborate closely both within the HR unit and with other parts of the HR and Communications Department. We have diverse competencies and experiences within the department, which is also our strength in our joint work to succeed in our mission. All HR Partners work targeted towards one or more of Fortifikationsverket's departments and regions.

In your role, you are expected to take an active part in developing the business, strengthening leadership, and contributing to the organization reaching its goals, together with management and managers at all levels.

You will also be responsible for driving and developing the organization's strategic work within competence supply. You work closely with managers, HR, and leadership to ensure that the business has the right competence to meet today's and future needs.

We have just decided on a new competence supply plan that will be implemented through improvements in working methods and activities to strengthen the organization's ability to develop and retain the right competence.

Regular travel occurs in the role, which can be planned. Possibility for remote work is available on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach, support, and challenge managers across the entire HR field, with the aim of strengthening their ownership and responsibility in accordance with Fortifikationsverket's view on management and leadership.
  • Coordinate the competence supply process and actively contribute to its development in close collaboration with colleagues.
  • Provide advice to managers on matters concerning competence supply, labor law, change management, and systematic work environment work.
  • Provide support in rehabilitation processes and personnel matters.
  • Educate and facilitate competence-enhancing HR initiatives in various manager forums.
  • Participate in readiness work and serve in the staff function if needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an academic degree in personnel science or another relevant academic education that we assess as equivalent for the position. You have several years of experience in broad HR work and are accustomed to independently driving HR-related assignments. You also have experience working both operationally and strategically with the competence supply process. You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have a B driver's license. Swedish citizenship is a requirement.

Experience in a rapidly growing organization is meritorious.

Experience in change management and work within the public sector is also meritorious.

Fortifikationsverket has high demands on security and confidentiality, which is why it is important that you have a strong security awareness.

About the employment

The position is a permanent employment and may start with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be mobilized for war service. The location is Eskilstuna. Possibility for remote work is available on a part-time basis. Start date according to agreement. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security clearance with register check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
