The areas of operation for the Child and Education Board include preschool, pedagogical care, compulsory school with after-school care, adapted compulsory and upper secondary school, upper secondary school, Swedish for Immigrants (SFI)/Adult Education, and student health services. We are approximately 1,000 employees working within the operations of the Education Office.
Mariefred School, with 670 wonderful students, is a grades F-9 school located in the heart of the dynamic idyll of Mariefred. We are now looking for a Vicariance Coordinator who wants to be an important part of the school's administration while working closely with the operations. Do you want to be the hub of our daily operations and contribute to creating security and continuity for both students and staff?

As a Vicariance Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating the school's substitute teacher management and ensuring that operations function when regular staff are absent. You are a central figure in the school's daily work and have many contact points with staff, school leadership, and substitutes.
The position is a combination of coordination and work within the operations. When needs arise, you work yourself as a substitute teacher in the school or at the after-school care. No two days are alike. One moment you are planning staffing for several weeks ahead, the next you are solving that day's absence and meeting students in the activities.
