Fortifikationsverket is now looking for an HR Partner in Eskilstuna. Do you want to help develop leadership, culture, and operations in a socially vital organization? As a business-oriented HR Partner with us, you will have a key role in supporting managers across the entire HR area.

The HR/Communications Department consists of a staff function and four units: HR, recruitment, communications, and competence development. We are a competent and cheerful team of 45 employees led by the HR Director. The position is located within the HR Unit, which works with business-oriented advisory services on HR issues, both operationally and strategically. The unit consists of an HR Manager, HR Administrators, and HR Partners. The HR Unit needs to expand, and in this position, you will be a substitute for an employee on parental leave. The headquarters is located in Eskilstuna.

Your daily life as an HR Partner

In the role of business-oriented HR Partner, you will become part of the HR and Communications Department, whose mission is to serve as a strategic, governing, and advisory function within Fortifikationsverket. You will be part of a team of 10 HR Partners who collaborate closely both within the HR Unit and with other parts of the HR and Communications Department. We have diverse competencies and experiences within the department, which is also our strength in our joint work to succeed in our mission. All HR Partners work targeted towards one or more of Fortifikationsverket's departments and regions. In your role, you are expected to take an active part in developing operations, strengthening leadership, and contributing to the organization reaching its goals, together with management and managers at all levels.

You will also work on wage formation and develop our job architecture in close collaboration with other colleagues in HR. This is intended to create conditions for a job architecture that can be used long-term as support in several HR processes, such as wage formation, wage mapping, career development, and strategic competence supply.

Opportunities for remote work are available on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach, support, and challenge managers across the entire HR area, with the aim of strengthening their ownership and responsibility in accordance with Fortifikationsverket's view on managerial and leadership roles.
  • Provide advisory support to managers on matters concerning competence supply, labor law, change management, and systematic work environment work.
  • Provide support in rehabilitation processes and personnel cases.
  • Actively contribute to the development of the HR process for wage formation and job architecture.
  • This involves analyzing and structuring jobs, participating in job evaluation (BESTA codes), and quality-assuring job data in our system support.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an academic degree in Human Resources Management or another relevant education that we assess as equivalent for the position. You have experience in broad HR work and have worked both operationally and strategically, and are accustomed to independently driving HR-related assignments. You have experience working with labor law issues and wage formation. You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have a B driver's license. Swedish citizenship is a requirement.

It is meritorious if you have worked strategically and operationally within wage formation or review of job architecture. Experience in digitalizing working methods is meritorious.

Fortifikationsverket has high demands on security and confidentiality, which is why it is important that you have a strong security awareness.

About the employment

The position is a fixed-term appointment starting 2026-09-01 and ending no later than 2027-12-31. The location will be Eskilstuna. Opportunities for remote work are available on a part-time basis.

Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security clearance class. Security investigation with register check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
