About Us

Aleris Psychiatry is launching a new Child and Adolescent Psychiatry unit in Gothenburg with the ambition to offer accessible, person-centered, and modern child and adolescent psychiatric care.

The head of operations is a specialist physician in psychiatry.

We aim to create a unit where children, adolescents, and their families feel safe and involved throughout the entire care chain. Our approach is built on collaboration, clarity, and high medical quality – with efficient care processes and close interdisciplinary teamwork.

The Role

As a child psychiatrist with us, you work with assessments, investigations, and treatment of child and adolescent psychiatric conditions based on national guidelines and regional care programs.

You meet children, adolescents, and families in various life situations and contribute with both medical competence and a secure approach. The role involves close collaboration with psychologists, nurses, and other colleagues, while also allowing for significant independence and clinical responsibility.

You will also become an important part of building the unit and have the opportunity to influence working methods, processes, and future development.

About You

We are looking for you who:

• Are a specialist physician in child and adolescent psychiatry
• Have experience in specialist psychiatric work
• Have a good ability to work independently and make medical decisions
• Express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience in developing or launching units
• Are interested in development work and modern care processes

Employment Terms

• Employment type: Permanent position with an initial probationary period of 6 months
• Scope: Full-time or part-time as agreed

• Salary: Individual salary setting
