Registered Midwife at the Family Centre in Bollnäs

At the Family Centre in Bollnäs, you will meet an engaged and experienced team focused on providing good and close care throughout all stages of life. Here, the midwife clinic, youth clinic, ultrasound clinic, and maternity ward clinic are combined, making the operations unique and offering varied tasks as well as close collaboration between the clinics. The position is primarily based at the midwife clinic, but you also have the opportunity to work part of your time at the youth clinic, maternity ward clinic, and ultrasound clinic.

The Family Centre in Bollnäs belongs to the Family Health South Hälsingland operational area, which also includes the midwife and youth clinics in Söderhamn. For this position, Bollnäs is your base of operations.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a midwife, you will meet women and families at different stages of life, where you play an important part in promoting health and well-being.

Your main responsibilities:

• Health care during pregnancy, including medical basic programs, fetal diagnostics, and health information during pregnancy.
• Support in parenthood and parent groups with childbirth and parent preparation.
• Family planning at the individual level, including contraceptive counseling and STI prevention.
• Gynecological cervical cancer screening to prevent cervical cancer.
• Team collaboration with social workers.
• Public health work and conversations about lifestyle issues.

• Be a registered midwife with prescription rights.

For this position, it is meritorious if you have experience from a midwife clinic.
