Child and Adolescent Rehabilitation Center seeks a Licensed Psychologist

The Child and Adolescent Rehabilitation Center is a specialized unit responsible for habilitation interventions for children and adolescents aged 0–17 with motor disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and/or autism. We base our work on the child's needs, follow their development over time, and work in teams. In Bollnäs, we are a dedicated interdisciplinary team working in close collaboration with the team in Hudiksvall, ensuring good accessibility for our patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We keep the common patient in focus and want you as a psychologist to become involved in our work with patient-centered care processes, new working models, and to serve as a knowledge support to other professions in the team. We see the development of digital care as an important part of securing care for our children and adolescents in the future.

There is collegial support within our operations, and you have the opportunity to receive supervision if needed. At our center, no two days are alike, and it is this variation that makes the work both stimulating and challenging.

The core tasks for psychologists within our operations include:

  • Investigation and diagnosis of suspected autism in children up to five years old.
  • Cognitive assessments of children and adolescents aged 0–17.
  • Treatment interventions for children and adolescents with autism, motor disabilities, intellectual disabilities, as well as their families and networks.
  • Treatment conducted through parent education and psychological treatment in groups or individually.
  • Teamwork with other professional categories.
  • Collaboration with other healthcare providers as well as municipal actors such as Student Health Services.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have good collaboration skills and an interest in working in a team. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and can structure, plan, and prioritize. You take initiative within the framework of your assignment as a psychologist as well as the operation's common tasks.

In the role of psychologist, you must:

  • Be a licensed psychologist or have a recognized psychology degree.

For this position, it is meritorious if you have further education in neuropsychology. It is also meritorious if you have experience in treatment and investigation regarding children and adolescents with disabilities and psychiatric conditions, and experience in psychosocial support and treatment work with children, adolescents, and families.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-10-01 or by agreement.
Fixed-term employment until 2027-09-30.
