About the position

As a nurse in specialized housing, you play a central role in creating security, safe care, and good quality of life for our residents. You work closely with care staff, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, doctors, and relatives to ensure person-centered care with the individual's needs in focus.

The position involves evening shifts and currently every fourth weekend. During evenings and weekend shifts, you work across all of the municipality's areas of responsibility (Home Care, Specialized Housing, and LSS).

As we are a relatively small municipality and nursing unit, employees need to switch main areas when the operation's needs require it. This way of working fosters a sense of team, good collegial cohesion, and makes experience sharing a natural part of our daily lives.

Your responsibilities

• Be responsible for health and medical care interventions according to current legislation.
• Assess, plan, implement, and follow up on care measures.
• Guide and support care staff in health and medical care issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external actors to create the best possible care for the individual.
• Contribute to the operation's quality and development work.

We are looking for you who

• Are a registered nurse.
• Have a genuine interest in elderly care and person-centered care.
• Are responsible, flexible, and have good collaboration skills.
• Can work independently and make well-founded decisions.
• Have a professional and respectful approach.

Experience from municipal health and medical care or elderly care is meritorious, but we also welcome those who are new to the profession.
