Our industrial team in Gothenburg continues to grow, and we are now looking for an experienced Automation Engineer who wants to strengthen our offering in electrical, automation, and instrumentation. Here, you will become part of a multidisciplinary environment where we work closely with our customers and collaborate with specialists in project management, process, mechanics, piping design, and machine safety. About the Job

As a Senior Automation Engineer with us, you will play a central role in assignments ranging from early-stage feasibility studies to commissioned and optimized facilities. We work with industrial customers both locally and nationally, giving you the opportunity to contribute to projects of varying scope, technology, and complexity.

You will work closely with customers, colleagues, and other technical disciplines to develop robust and efficient automation solutions. The role involves significant personal responsibility while providing access to a broad network of expertise within Rejlers.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and technical investigations
• Work with systematization and development of automation solutions
• Program and configure PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems
• Participate in commissioning and optimization of facilities
• Perform troubleshooting and contribute to long-term improvements for the customer

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Relevant education in industrial automation or work experience considered equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation
• Ability to work independently with common tools within PLC, SCADA, and HMI
• Good knowledge and experience with Siemens, Honeywell, or ABB
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Opportunity and willingness to work on-site at the customer's premises when needed

It is an advantage if you have knowledge in ElproCAD or E-plan, experience from roles as an industrial electrician or technician, and experience in troubleshooting, commissioning, and working in complex industrial projects.
