We are now looking for two engaged park workers who want to help create pleasant environments for everyone living in and visiting Partille.

As a park worker with us, you will have a varied and practical job where you contribute to maintaining high quality in our outdoor areas. Your tasks include, among other things:

• Maintaining and caring for green areas and plantings
• Mowing grass, trimming, and weeding
• Pruning trees and bushes
• Planting and watering
• Combating invasive plant species
• Keeping public spaces clean and pleasant

During the winter, the role also includes snow removal and anti-icing measures, and on-call duties may occur. The work as a park worker is physical and involves the use of machinery and equipment carriers.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a few years of experience in similar work
• Has a B-category driver's license
• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has good computer skills

It is an advantage if you have:

• Gardening education or knowledge of plant identification and pruning
• Chainsaw license (AB) and brush cutter training
• Work on road (APV) certification

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and positive in interactions with people. You take responsibility for your tasks and work carefully and systematically. You are engaged in your work and take pride in contributing to a well-maintained and pleasant municipality.

The Street and Park Department is part of the Technical Department and is responsible for ensuring that our shared outdoor environments are safe, clean, and welcoming. We maintain streets, squares, parks, playgrounds, and green areas – ensuring everything functions year-round, even during the winter. We are also responsible for the municipality's vehicles and storage facilities.
