Talangbron is now recruiting audiologists for an exciting opportunity with one of Norway's largest private hearing care providers.
About the Role
You will join one of Norway's most established private players in hearing care, with clinics located in several cities across the country. The organization is characterized by high clinical quality, modern working methods, and a genuine focus on the patient. Here, you will work with longer patient consultation times and broader responsibilities than many are used to from Sweden; you are a specialist, not an assistant.
You will receive continuous professional development in areas such as hearing aid fitting, tinnitus, and reduced sound tolerance.
In this role, you will work with:
- Hearing assessments and diagnostics
- Fitting and adjustment of hearing aids
- Rehabilitation, communication strategies, and patient counseling
- Tinnitus treatment and treatment for reduced sound tolerance
- Preventive hearing care and earplugs
We are looking for someone who:
- Has Swedish authorization as an audiologist; Norwegian authorization is applied for prior to start, and we will guide you through the process.
- Has at least 3 years of clinical experience.
- Communicates fluently in Swedish; Norwegian is not a requirement from the start.
- Is meticulous, service-oriented, and thrives in patient-facing work.
- Is passionate about ensuring patients receive the right aids and support.
- Works in a structured manner and is a team player who enjoys working towards common goals.
- Wants to use expertise and technology to deliver high-quality care.
Why Norway?
Competitive Salary - As an audiologist in Norway, you can expect a starting salary that is significantly higher than Swedish levels.
Greater Responsibility and Autonomy - You will work more independently with longer patient times, unlike the more assistant-like role common in Swedish regional healthcare.
Secure Employment Conditions - Permanent employment directly with the employer, including pension, private health insurance, flexible working hours, a 37-hour work week, and annual professional development.
Quality of Life - Norway offers a unique opportunity to combine your career with a nature-rich environment, outdoor activities, and a high quality of life.
Norwegian Authorization – We Help You
The processing time for Norwegian audiologist authorization is typically 8–12 weeks. We will coordinate the timeline with you based on your current notice period and guide you through the entire application process.
