The Role

Klockarbergsskolan in Skinnskatteberg is beautifully situated in the middle of the village, next to the church with a view of Lake Nedre Vättern. The school is the municipality's only comprehensive school and adapted comprehensive school, with approximately 400 students in grades F-9. The campus includes a preschool class, sports hall, library, and culture school. The goal is to create a safe school with a holistic approach and a shared value base from preschool class to grade 9. The school is characterized by an open and positive work climate. The municipality's size means short decision-making paths and great opportunities to influence the development of operations.

Responsibilities

As a resource assistant, you work with one or more students with special needs and collaborate closely with guardians. Together with the rest of the work team, you are responsible for the planning, execution, evaluation, and documentation of teaching based on current guidelines. You actively participate in developing successful learning environments.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with pedagogical education, such as a preschool teacher or resource pedagogue. You have a good understanding of people's different prerequisites for absorbing knowledge and communicate clearly. You are interested in the overall work and will belong to a work team where you are seen as an important part of a whole working towards all students reaching their goals. You are well-versed in the guidelines for comprehensive schools as well as digital technology, which you use naturally in teaching. Previous experience working with children and young people with neuropsychiatric disabilities is an advantage.

Working Hours/Duration

We are looking for two resource assistants, each with a scope of 80%. Interviews may begin before the application deadline. A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) must be presented prior to employment.

The position is a temporary assignment for the school year 2026-08-17 to 2027-06-11.

During the interview, you must prove your citizenship (passport or personal identity certificate with ID). If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must present a valid work permit or exemption from the requirement to have a work permit.
