We are looking for an engaged teacher at St. Olovsskolan in Köping

St. Olovsskolan is a primary school located in the center of Köping. The school has three parallel classes from preschool class to grade 6. We also have a large after-school care program at the school.

There are approximately 440 students at the school, and around 70 staff members work there.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with two colleagues, you will be responsible for planning and teaching in a grade on the lower secondary level (grades 4-6). Together, you will form a strong work team where collaboration and joint planning are in focus.

The position includes mentorship for a class, and you will teach your class in all subjects except practical aesthetics. For this position, you need extensive knowledge and work experience regarding neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF). We would appreciate it if you had experience leading a work team.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must have a teaching license for the lower secondary level. We prefer that you have experience teaching most theoretical subjects at this level and that you are confident in your role as a teacher, with good ability to create structure and engagement in the classroom. We also look for experience working with students with NPF.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, collaborative, and has a genuine interest in creating good learning environments where students have the opportunity to develop both academically and socially. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
