About the Orthopedics Department
With approximately 500 employees, Sahlgrenska University Hospital is the country's largest provider of orthopedic care. We provide county and regional healthcare and also have several national assignments. Within the Orthopedics department, we treat, care for, and rehabilitate patients with injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. We perform emergency and planned surgeries and treatments. We receive and treat patients from all over Sweden within specialized areas such as foot, spine, prosthetic, and arthroscopic surgery.
We strive to provide good, high-quality care and conduct high-quality research, development, and education. Our operations are mainly conducted at Mölndal Hospital, but we are also present at Queen Silvia Children's and Young People's Hospital and at Sahlgrenska Hospital. The Orthopedics department at Sahlgrenska University Hospital has a long research tradition and is internationally highly distinguished in several clinical areas.
Our wards at Mölndal Hospital are highly specialized departments for emergency and planned orthopedic operations.
Working as an assistant nurse in our ward means developing, enjoyable, and independent work. The department has a good working climate where we help each other and share our experience and competence.
About You
We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse, preferably with experience in orthopedics and/or emergency care. Experience with SAMSA is a merit. If you are a positive person who finds it easy to collaborate and wish to develop in your role, you are the right person for this job.
