Engelbrektsskolan in Norberg is now seeking certified teachers with qualifications to teach grades 3–6.

Engelbrektsskolan is a school for grades 4–9 with just over 400 students and approximately 60 employees. The school is organized into two work teams and several subject teams. At the same time, we are undergoing a development process where our preschool–grade 3 school and the Central School will merge into a single unit.

The Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for you who are qualified to teach students in textile crafts.

Together with your colleagues, you will plan, implement, and evaluate pedagogical teaching. You will also work with other educators to drive school development and increase goal fulfillment.

The role may include mentorship, which involves good and close cooperation with guardians.

The position currently covers approximately 60%, but can be combined with teaching in other subjects. Part of the role is directed towards adapted primary school.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach in textile crafts.

In your role as a teacher, it is important that you are calm, secure, stable, and have the students and their goal fulfillment in focus. In the classroom, you have clear leadership where you effectively communicate your expectations to the students. We also look for someone who has the ability and desire to develop the subject area together with colleagues in cross-disciplinary working methods. Good collaboration skills, where you listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively, are essential.

You are expected to have good IT skills to participate in the school's ongoing digital journey, as well as being curious and driven in the development of the operations.

In combination with other subjects, you have adequate education for these.
