The Adapted Primary School in Luleå Municipality is located at Tunaskolan, with a focus on communication and language development. Working in the adapted primary school today means that you are an important part of the children's development and learning, where educators serve as important role models for the children.

We work in teams consisting of engaged and knowledgeable employees - teaching teachers, preschool teachers, leisure-time pedagogues/teachers in leisure-time centers, and student assistants. The students of the adapted primary school are distributed by stage into different groups during the school day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves a combination of teaching during school hours and working at the leisure-time center. As a preschool teacher with us, you collaborate in the classroom during the school day. You support the students during lesson time and in various social contexts throughout the entire school day. In the afternoon, you work in the leisure-time center. Based on the curriculum and our guiding documents, you are responsible for planning together with the rest of the work team to create a meaningful activity for our students. The position also includes care and nursing in relevant student groups within the adapted primary school. Students may study according to both subjects and subject areas based on the Adapted Primary School's course plans. You will collaborate with all staff categories.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher, but it might also be relevant for someone without a license. It is meritorious if you have good education in language development, knowledge and experience of low-affective handling, and experience working with students who have an intellectual disability. It is also meritorious to have good IT skills for the continued work with the digital development of the school in Luleå.

As a person, you are approachable, service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. You can work to create a calm and good learning environment. You have a non-hierarchical attitude and see the value in learning from and with others. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Start date: August 3, 2026, or as agreed.
