RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in children and young people, who thrives on building good and close relationships with students. As a mother tongue teacher, you work to provide students with the best possible conditions for development, both academically and socially. As a mother tongue teacher, you instruct students from grade 1 to grade 6. The students are divided into two groups: F-3 (preschool class to grade 3) and 4-6, depending on the group size. In your role, you meet students at different knowledge levels and are responsible for planning, conducting, grading, and evaluating teaching based on the Swedish curriculum. Language development is a central part of the students' schooling and a key factor in achieving their goals. Mother tongue instruction plays a significant role in this work, and we actively work with language-developing methods in all subjects.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, you must have a teaching license with authorization to teach in mother tongue subjects. You should have a teacher education that qualifies you to teach Arabic, Tigrinya, and Somali, along with a strong commitment to the students' language and academic development.

We are looking for someone who is structured, receptive, and capable of adapting teaching to meet the students' needs and prerequisites. Good collaboration skills are important, as you will work closely with both students and colleagues.

Personal suitability is given great weight.
