We have a consolidated responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues affecting our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Music School and food supply, as well as fulfilling tasks for the medical and psychological parts of the student health service in municipal preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, upper secondary schools, and adapted upper secondary schools. Svartbjörnsbyns School

Svartbjörnsbyns School is a preschool to grade 6 school located a couple of kilometers outside central Boden. The school has just under 150 students and has a high proportion of qualified educators across all professional groups. We are a school that works with participation and influence, where the student is at the center. We place great emphasis on Svartbjörnsbyns School being characterized by safety and study environment, and that we have a well-functioning student health service where teaching is interesting and understandable with high goal fulfillment. Digital tools are a natural part of teaching, and we invest in nature and movement through outdoor days, outdoor time both in forests and fields as well as on the schoolyard and planned break activities. Collaboration and shared views regarding students and attitudes are important parts of our work to create the best possible school.

WORK TASKS

We are looking for you who want to teach Swedish and Physical Education in grades 4-6.

Teaching will be your main task. You also have the role of homeroom teacher for a group of students, and in this role, you create the best conditions for students to develop, thrive, and feel safe.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach Swedish and Physical Education. Additional subject eligibility is meritorious.

We want you to be open to varying working methods, collaboration, and school development. Otherwise, you have good pedagogical insights and are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work. Your pedagogical and social skills make it easy for you to connect with people, and you are therefore also good at conveying your knowledge to our students. You are experienced in working with computers as a tool in pedagogical activities. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-12 or according to agreement.

Please attach teacher certification or degree certificate. An extract from the criminal record must be presented before employment in preschool and primary school.
