Welcome to the Employment and Education Administration in the Municipality of Boden!

The Employment and Education Administration has a unified responsibility for integration, employment, education, and employment issues affecting the inhabitants of our municipality. The administration is also responsible for the Culture School and food supply, as well as fulfilling tasks for the medical and psychological parts of student health services in municipal preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, upper secondary schools, and adapted upper secondary schools.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an employee who wants to help develop the Vehicle and Transport program, with a focus on Transport. We are looking for you who are willing to take great responsibility and participate in pedagogical development. You will teach both theoretically and during practical exercises at the upper secondary level. You will supervise students and contribute to the pedagogical development work at the school. To thrive in the job, it is important that you enjoy creating contacts and maintaining relationships, and that you actively work in line with the school's values and collaborate with the school's other staff.

You are passionate about student development and educating for the industry's needs. You engage with current research and dare to think new thoughts. You find it easy to collaborate and are happy to receive feedback from both colleagues and management to improve your work. You see the benefits of working with alternative and digital tools and have knowledge of the regulatory documents governing the school's work. As a pedagogue, you work inclusively, have a great commitment and interest in young people and their development. You give students a democratic and ethical way of thinking. You take initiative and enjoy working in an environment that places high demands on responsibility, flexibility, proactiveness, and social competence.

It is also important to be able to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively and set and maintain timeframes. To be able to help students with special needs, you need to be calm, stable, and controlled in pressured situations. The work in the school presupposes that you can collaborate with other people, listen, and communicate.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed vocational teacher in vehicles and transport (or are undergoing vocational teacher education)
• have a CE driver's license
• have relevant professional experience in the transport industry
• have good knowledge of the industry's requirements and development
• are secure, clear, and relationship-building in your leadership
• have the ability to combine structure with flexibility in teaching
• share the school's values and want to work close to students
• have been active in the transport industry for at least 3 years

Advantageous:

• experience of teaching at upper secondary level
• qualifications in several parts of transport subjects
• experience of working with APL (Adapted Practical Learning) and industry collaboration

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-08-12, end date: 2027-03-01.
