Job Responsibilities

As a butcher/cutter, you will work on the production line with cutting and packaging of products.

• Physical work, where you stand for the entire day.
• Cutting our products.
• Packaging of products.
• Inspection and post-processing of products.
• Packaging work occurs according to a rotation schedule.

About the Job

Our client, Bjärefågel, is located at the tip of the Bjäre Peninsula and specializes in sustainable chicken farming. The company slaughters, cuts, processes, and packs its premium chicken, which is then delivered to customers such as wholesalers, shops, and restaurants. The work is performed both individually and in groups, with a high pace.

Today, our work team consists of both men and women of various ages and nationalities. To become a part of the team, you need to be able to communicate in Swedish and have your own transportation to work, as public transport does not reach our workplace.

Scope

Seasonal employment, 100%, Weeks 28-32.

Salary: Hourly wage according to collective agreement.

Working hours: Daytime, 06:00–15:00. You must have a car to be on site when the workday begins, as public transport is not available.

Experience and Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a production environment. We appreciate if you have an interest in food, and it is an advantage if you have an understanding of food and its hygiene requirements. It is also an advantage if you are skilled with knives and have experience with machine packaging in the food industry.

The most important thing is that you have a strong interest and drive to learn new things. As a person, you are a team player, humble, and responsible. You are meticulous and quality-conscious in your work, and you contribute with a positive attitude to a pleasant atmosphere at the workplace together with your colleagues.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• No prior experience is required; our client will train you on-site (introduction).
