Workshop Mechanic in Trelleborg

Are you a skilled workshop mechanic with experience in assembly and metal manufacturing? Do you want to work in a modern workshop where quality, precision, and teamwork are in focus? Then this might be the job for you!

We are now looking for a workshop mechanic for our client in Trelleborg. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a varied role where you build and assemble steel structures and other metal components based on technical drawings.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Manufacture and assemble metal structures according to drawings.
• Work with cutting, drilling, grinding, and joining of steel details.
• Perform quality controls to ensure that products meet drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with colleagues in production to ensure an efficient workflow.
• Contribute to a safe, orderly, and well-functioning workplace.

We are looking for you who

• Have experience in workshop work or mechanical assembly.
• Can read and work according to technical drawings.
• Have a strong technical interest and an eye for detail.
• Are meticulous, responsible, and quality-conscious.
• Thrive in both independent work and team collaboration.
• Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken).

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience with welding (MIG/MAG or TIG).
• Forklift and/or overhead crane license.
• Experience from the manufacturing or workshop industry.
