On behalf of our client, HIREQ is now recruiting several train technicians for operations in Hässleholm. Here, you will become part of a team working to ensure that trains maintain the highest quality, are traffic-safe, and ready to run in service.

As a train technician, you will work with maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair of modern railway vehicles. The work is varied and includes both interior and exterior tasks where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for ensuring that the trains meet high demands for function, quality, and safety.

You work according to established routines and instructions, while also using your technical competence and problem-solving skills to find the right solutions when unexpected faults occur.

In this role, you will primarily work with:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of trains.
• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and technical systems.
• Service, replacement, and adjustment of components.
• Function tests and safety checks prior to traffic.
• Documentation of completed work according to current routines.
• Reporting of deviations and suggestions for improvement.

The work covers both interior and exterior tasks. This means you might work with interiors, door systems, seats, lighting, and comfort equipment one day, and bogies, braking systems, wheels, couplers, roof equipment, or other exterior components the next. The role is therefore technically broad and very varied.

We are looking for you who have a strong technical interest and enjoy practical work. You are solution-oriented, meticulous, and have a natural focus on safety. Working in a structured manner and taking responsibility for your work is second nature to you.

We believe you have:

• A technical education in areas such as train technology, vehicles, or mechanics, or equivalent work experience. Experience with electricity is an advantage.
• Experience in troubleshooting, service, or maintenance is an advantage.
• Good familiarity with reading instructions and technical documentation.
• Good computer skills.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
