We are now looking for a team-playing dentist who wants to make a difference!

Main responsibilities and tasks

At Folktandvården Stöpen, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dentist with us, you play a key role in ensuring that patients feel well-received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of skills, while the role also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.

For an extended period, you will be seconded part-time to the clinic in Skultorp based on need. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy working in different teams and environments, while always maintaining the same high quality in patient interaction and care.

The role includes, among other things:

• Working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room.
• Performing both simple examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as emergency dental care.
• Serving as the team's specialist in oral diagnostics.

Qualifications and profile

• Licensed dentist, preferably with a few years of experience.
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry.
• Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speaking and writing.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and smart manner.
• Ability to project a stable and calm demeanor even when workload is high.
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a listening and empathetic way.
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during your first year. This program is part of our three-year development program, which includes up to 18 days of competency development.

About the recruitment process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period closes, the clinic manager selects candidates and invites them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for the end of week 27 and week 28.

If you, as a candidate, have education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, it may become relevant to complete theoretical and clinical work tests as part of the recruitment process.

Folktandvården Västra Götaland Region conducts checks in suspicion and burden registers before employment.
